MHT CET CAP 2026 Round 3 Result Declared; Know Admission Process and Next Steps

MHT CET CAP 2026 round 3 seat allocation result is announced by Maharashtra State CET Cell for engineering admission. In total, 1,16,690 students get admitted to BE/B Tech courses in colleges of Maharashtra via Centralized Allocation Process (CAP).

Under the round 3 allotment, 11,505 students get allotted seats in engineering for the first time. Approximately 1,05,185 students get allotted seats in engineering on account of betterment facility.

MHT CET CAP Round 3 Allotment: 9,766 Students Get Seats in Top 6 Preferences

The number of seats allotted from the first six preferences of the candidates is 9,766.

According to the CAP regulations, seats allocated from the first six preferences get automatically frozen. Those candidates accepting seats from the first six preferences cannot take part in further CAP rounds.

Those students who have been allotted seats other than those of the first six preferences may opt whether they would like to retain the allocated seats or apply for improvement.

MHT CET CAP Round 3 Seat Acceptance Dates

Those candidates, who have got the allocation of seats in the Third Round, must fulfill the seat acceptance procedure within the given time frame.

All candidates have to follow all the necessary steps before the deadline to get the admission confirmed. The candidates must bring all the necessary documents at the allotted institute.
