The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has started online registration for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. Candidates who are eligible can go to the official GATE 2025 website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in, to sign up. The last date to register is September 26, 2024. The GATE 2025 exam will be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The results will be announced in March 2025.

You can choose to take either one or two exam papers. Only one application form is needed, but if you choose two papers, they must come from the options listed on the website. Each exam paper is scored out of 100 marks. General Aptitude (GA) is worth 15 marks, and the rest of the paper is worth 85 marks.

According to the GATE 2025 website, the exam center for the second paper may be different from the first one (but will remain in the same city) due to scheduling and infrastructure constraints. GATE 2025 is not responsible for any legal claims related to this issue. In rare cases, some combinations may be removed from the list due to unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, candidates will receive a refund for the second paper fee.

GATE 2025: Steps to Register

To register for GATE 2025, follow these steps:

Visit the official website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in or go directly to goaps.iitr.ac.in/login.
On the homepage, click on the 'Apply Online' link.
A new page will open, where you'll click on the registration link.
Fill out the application form with all the required details.
Pay the registration fee and submit the form.
Print out your GATE 2025 application for future reference.
