WBJEE 2026 Decentralised Counselling Date Postponed, Check Latest Update Here

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced that the Decentralized Counselling 2026 process will be held after delaying the same due to some alterations in the eligibility criteria.

As per the latest notification, students who have already got admissions under the process of WBJEE 2026 Centralised Online Counselling will also be eligible for the Decentralised Counselling process.

The board is expected to announce the revised schedule for the counseling process very soon via its official website. Interested students can refer to www.wbjeeb.nic.in for further updates.

WBJEE Decentralised Counselling 2026 Details

WBJEE Decentralized Counselling will take place in order to fill vacancies left after the counseling process that has already taken place. This counseling process will have 2 rounds of counseling.

Candidates will have to register themselves and then put forward their preferences for admission. The counseling fees will have to be paid through the online mode of payment.

Who Can Apply for WBJEE Decentralised Counselling 2026?

Those candidates who have cleared the examination of WBJEE or JEE Main along with fulfilling eligibility criteria of class 12th can appear in this counselling round.

According to the updated notification, those candidates who have been offered admission through central counselling round can also appear in this counselling round.

After the activation of the registration link, candidates must do the following things:

• Go to the official website of the WBJEEB.
• Click on the WBJEE link.
• Click on the Decentralised Counselling registration link.
• Register yourself by filling up the details.
• Choose the colleges as per your preferences.
• Submit your choices.
• Pay the application fee.
