The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has extended the registration deadline for WBJEE 2024 counselling. Students can now register until July 21 by visiting the official website – wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee.

To complete registration, students need to provide their application or roll numbers along with academic and personal details. A registration fee of Rs 500 must also be paid, and both the fee payment and choice-filling process must be completed by July 21. The results for the first round of seat allotment will be announced on July 23.

Students who have secured a rank in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 are also eligible to register for WBJEE 2024 counselling. The counselling process includes three rounds: allotment, upgradation, and mop-up.

Candidates will be allotted colleges and courses based on their preferences, WBJEE rank, and seat availability. They can register for the first round and the mop-up round only.

The deadline for paying the seat acceptance fee, document verification, and reporting to allotted institutions is between July 23 and July 29. The results for the second round of seat allotment will be declared on July 31.

For the mop-up round of WBJEE counselling, registration, fee payment, and choice filling will take place from August 5 to August 7. Candidates can modify and lock their choices until August 7.

The mop-up round seat allotment results will be announced on August 9. Fresh allottees must then pay the seat acceptance fee and report to their allotted institutes for document verification and admission from August 9 to August 12.
