CBSE 10 Result 2026 Out: How to Apply for Re-evaluation & Verification After 2nd Board Exam - Check Fee & Full Process
CBSE declared the Class 10 results on April 15, 2026. The overall pass percentage stood at 93.70%. While lakhs of students are happy with their results, there are some who are not satisfied with their marks.

When will the CBSE Re-evaluation facility become available?
This facility from CBSE will not be available immediately. It will only become operational after the second board examination. The second board examination is scheduled to commence in mid-May 2026. CBSE will activate its Redressal Portal only after the examinations have concluded.
Previously, the Class 10 and 12 results used to be released simultaneously in May, and the re-evaluation window would open a few days thereafter. However, this year, the process has undergone a change due to the implementation of the Two-Exam System.

Compartment students must note that the List of Candidates (LOC) submission window opened on April 16, 2026, for just 5 days. Missing this deadline means losing the chance to appear in supplementary exams.
Can Re-evaluation be done offline?
No. CBSE has clarified that all applications must be submitted exclusively through the official CBSE portal. Students are required to visit the portal using their login credentials and submit their applications within the stipulated deadline.
In How Many Subjects Can You Appear in the Second Exam?
Class 10 students can attempt to improve their performance in a maximum of 3 subjects during the second board examination. This option is available for students who wish to enhance their marks.
How to Apply for Re-evaluation?
Step 1: Visit the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.
Step 2: Log in to the portal using your login credentials.
Step 3: Locate and click on the "Re-evaluation / Verification" link.
Step 4: Select the specific subject for which you wish to apply.
Step 5: Choose your desired option from Photocopy, Verification, or Re-evaluation.
Step 6: Pay the prescribed fee.
Step 7: Submit your application and save the confirmation for future reference.

Important Information for Compartment Students
For students falling under the Compartment Category, the LOC (List of Candidates) submission window will be open for a limited period of just 5 days, starting from April 16, 2026. Such students are strongly advised not to miss this opportunity. Failure to submit the LOC on time will result in the forfeiture of the opportunity to appear for the Supplementary Examination.
