Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has enabled the online application link for CBSE Class 10 Revaluation and Verification of Marks 2026. Candidates who have taken CBSE Class 10 Main Exam or Second Board Exam can apply online on the official CBSE website.

The candidates can apply for verification of marks once they have received their scanned answer book. The candidates can even apply for re-evaluation of certain questions once they have reviewed the answers in their scanned answer book.

The verification of marks charges amount to INR 300, whereas the candidate needs to pay INR 100 for re-evaluation.

The candidates must review their scanned answer book before applying since the marks post verification or re-evaluation might increase or decrease or stay the same.

How to Apply for CBSE 10th Revaluation 2026?

Students who wish to apply for re-evaluation or verification of marks for CBSE Class 10 are expected to adhere to the following criteria:

• Firstly, get the scanned answer book copy and review it.
• Review your answer against the official question paper and marking scheme.
• Make up your mind about whether you would like to apply for verification of marks, re-evaluation, or both.
• The candidate may obtain the scanned answer book for the Main Examination, Second Examination, or both as appropriate.
• In case a candidate has appeared in the same subject in the Main Examination as well as in the Second Examination, verification or re-evaluation can be requested for one answer book only.
• In case of re-evaluation, candidates must select the entire question and justify their request for re-evaluation.
• If a particular answer book for the Main or Second Examination is selected for verification or re-evaluation, then the request for the other answer book of the same subject shall not be entertained.
• The re-evaluation would be made for the entire question. Selection of partial question is not possible.
• The verification and re-evaluation services are available for theory examination only.

CBSE 10th Revaluation Result 2026

Status and results of verification or re-evaluation would be uploaded in the login portal of the applicant.

It is important to note that marks revised could either go up, down, or even stay the same. Even if the mark goes down by just one point, it would still be added to the final result.

The result obtained after verification/re-evaluation is final. Applicants should take care when examining the scanned answer sheet and the marking scheme.
