The CBSE has just released the results for the class 10 board exam 2024. You can easily access and download your scorecard from official websites like cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in, and umang.gov.in.

This year, the overall pass rate is 93.60%, a slight increase from last year's 93.12%. Girls have achieved a pass rate of 94.75%, while boys have achieved 92.71%.

In terms of school types, JNV and KVs have excelled with a pass rate of 99.09%, followed by independent schools at 94.54%, CTSA at 94.40%, government schools at 86.72%, and government-aided schools at 83.95%.
Over 39 lakh students registered for the exams this year, held in 26 countries besides India. The number of students needing to reappear for subjects has decreased from 134,774 (6.22%) in 2023 to 132,337 (5.91%) this year.
A total of 212,384 students (9.49%) scored 90% and above, up from 195,799 last year. Additionally, 47,983 students (2.14%) scored 95% and above, compared to 44,297 in 2023.
Last year, the overall pass rate was 93.12%. The top-performing regions were Trivandrum at 99.91%, Bengaluru at 99.18%, Chennai at 99.14%, Ajmer at 97.27%, and Pune at 96.92%.
