Southern Regions — 5 Years of Dominance
Southern regions have consistently led CBSE Class 10 results over the last five years. Trivandrum has remained the best-performing region every single year, maintaining near-perfect pass percentages consistently between 99.7% and 99.9%. Bengaluru and Chennai have also stayed among the top three, reflecting strong academic performance across CBSE-affiliated schools in these regions.
Last year, Trivandrum and Vijayawada jointly secured the top position with 99.79%, followed by Bengaluru at 98.90% and Chennai at 98.71%. Pune and Ajmer rounded out the top five in 2025.
Ajmer and Pune have consistently featured among the top five over the years, though their pass percentages have seen a gradual dip compared to the near-perfect scores recorded in 2021. Regions like Patna, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, and Panchkula have regularly appeared in the top 10, showing steady and consistent academic performance.
