Lencho showed not the slightest surprise on seeing the money; such was his confidence — but he became angry when he counted the money.

Ans. When Lencho opened the envelope, he felt confident and happy, as he had a strong belief in God and knew that God would help him. However, when he counted the money and saw that it was less, he felt disappointed. This is because he thought God would provide exactly what he asked for. Receiving only seventy pesos shattered his expectations and questioned his unwavering trust in God.
