The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) Cancels ICSE and ISC Compartment Exams for 2024: Introduces Re-evaluation Option
In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, CISCE has decided to cancel compartment exams for ICSE and ISC Class 12 board exams in 2024. Embracing a new approach, the board is now introducing the re-evaluation of answer scripts.

For the convenience of students, CISCE has published the ICSE and ISC date sheet 2024 on its official website, cisce.org. According to the schedule, the ICSE Class 10th exams are set to commence on February 21, while ISC Class 12th exams will begin on February 12.
In a noteworthy move, the ICSE and ISC re-evaluation option comes alongside the traditional recheck of answer scripts post result declaration. The board plans to announce the CISCE Class 10 and 12 board results for 2024 in May.
Beginning from the 2024 exam year, students can take CISCE improvement exams for a maximum of two subjects. The re-evaluation process incurs a fee of Rs 1,500 per subject, and this fee is non-refundable. CISCE aims to release the re-evaluation results within three weeks, accessible through the official CISCE website (www.cisce.org).
The re-evaluation of answer scripts will be overseen by a qualified individual appointed by the Chief Executive and Secretary of CISCE. To ensure a smooth verification process, students must bring their admit card and school ID card to the exam hall.
