ICSE, ISC 2027-28 Registration Open: Deadline, Fee, Documents Required and How to Apply

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has begun the process of registering candidates for ICSE and ISC examinations for the years 2027 and 2028. At present, there are two things that schools have to do.

The first is verifying the information of students who will appear in the 2027 examinations. The second thing is registering students for the 2028 examinations.

Both processes take place through the CISCE Careers Portal.

ICSE, ISC 2027: Entry Confirmation Dates

The confirmation of entries for the exams in 2027 can be made by schools between August 5th and September 15th, 2026. There is no late charge applicable during this period.

The second period of confirmation is from September 16th to September 30th, 2026. Any entry made during this time will incur a late charge per candidate.

Why is the process of confirmation of entries important? It is the last opportunity available to confirm all details of each candidate.

Schools Must Cerify Candidate Details Carefully

Moreover, a process is being followed by CISCE where the schools are able to make minor amendments in candidate profiles. This is done through Careers Portal.

The school authorities need to verify all the details like name of the candidates, subjects and other information before pressing the button to submit.

It is always advisable to not wait till the last date because portals become slow at that time and even some mistakes become difficult to undo.

ICSE 2028 Registration: Check Deadline

Those who wish to apply for ICSE in the year 2028 will be allowed from 5th August to 31st October 2026, without incurring any late fees.

Messed up? School has yet another opportunity from 1st November to 15th November 2026. Those applying during this period will incur late fees.

The onus of correct and timely registration lies with the schools. Students and parents need to communicate with their school regarding the process and payment of fees.

ISC 2028 Registration Window

For ISC 2028, candidates may be registered from August 5 until November 15, 2026.

There is a twist: There will not be any separate window for late registration for ISC 2028. After November 15, it’s curtains.

The council has requested schools to follow proper guidelines for registration, submission of documents and payment of fee while developing the Careers Portal.

What Schools Need to Do

The school needs to undertake the proper procedure on the CISCE Careers Portal depending on the exam year.

In relation to the 2027 examinations, verify the details of the existing registered students for ICSE and ISC. With respect to the 2028 examinations, the registration of the new batch will be done as per the deadlines mentioned above.
