The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has released the ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 results for 2026 today. The overall pass percentage stands at 99.18% for Class 10 and 99.13% for Class 12.
Students who aren't happy with their marks have three options. They can apply for rechecking, request a re-evaluation, or appear for the improvement exams.

ICSE & ISC Rechecking 2026: Important Dates and Process
Students can submit rechecking requests from May 1 to May 4, 2026. To apply, candidates need to log in to the CISCE Service Portal using their registered email ID and password. The link is available under the "Public Services" section on the CISCE website.
New users will need to register first by clicking the "Register Now" option. School heads can submit requests through the CAREERS Portal.
The rechecking fee is Rs 1,000 per paper for ICSE Class 10 and Rs 1,000 per subject for ISC Class 12. No requests will be accepted after May 4, 2026.
All rechecking results will be released together on the CISCE website. Students can also access them through the CAREERS Portal.
ICSE & ISC Re-evaluation 2026: Who Can Apply?
Students who aren't satisfied with their rechecking results can apply for re-evaluation. Re-evaluation is allowed only for subjects and papers that were already sent for rechecking.
The application window will open one day after the rechecking results are declared. The module will stay open for three days. Students can apply through the "Public Services" section on the CISCE website. School heads can submit applications via the CAREERS Portal.
The re-evaluation fee is Rs 1,500 per paper or subject for both ICSE and ISC candidates. This fee is non-refundable. CISCE will release all re-evaluation results together within three weeks on the official website. The result date will be announced later on cisce.org.
CISCE Improvement Exam 2026: Now in Up to 3 Subjects
Here's the big update for students who want to improve their scores. CISCE has now allowed students to take improvement exams in up to three subjects. Earlier, students could appear for improvement exams in only two subjects.
The registration window for the CISCE improvement exams will open on May 8 and close on May 14, 2026. The exams will be held from June 15. Results are expected to be declared in the last week of July 2026.

The ICSE Class 10 exam was held in 67 written subjects. This included 20 Indian languages, 14 foreign languages, and 1 classical language.
The ISC Class 12 exam covered 45 written subjects, including 13 Indian languages, 2 foreign languages, and 2 classical languages.
