CUET UG 2026 Photo Mismatch: NTA Issues Urgent Advisory, Fix It Before April 14 Deadline
The NTA has issued an important advisory for CUET UG 2026 candidates regarding discrepancies in photo matching within their applications.
Students who utilized a non-Aadhaar identity card—and whose current photograph does not match the records held by UIDAI—are required to upload a verified certificate by April 14, 2026; failure to do so may result in issues regarding the issuance of their admit cards. The examination is scheduled to be held from May 11 to May 31, 2026.
The facility for uploading documents was available from April 7, 2026, until 10:00 PM on April 10, 2026. However, a deadline of April 14 has also been mentioned in a post released on NTA's official X (Twitter) handle, @NTA_Exams. Therefore, students are advised to keep checking cuet.nta.nic.in for the latest updates.
