CUET UG 2026 Photo Verification Certificate: Last Date Today - Submit Before Deadline

CUET UG 2026 Photo Verification Certificate: Last Date Today - Submit Before Deadline

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the CUET UG 2026 photo verification process today via its official website, cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who have not yet completed this process are encouraged to do so before the deadline.

According to the revised schedule, the deadline for submitting the photo verification certificate has been extended from April 10 to April 16, 2026. However, the final date for candidates to complete the necessary verification process is today.

👉 Read Official Notice

Candidates are required to download the photo verification certificate, get it verified, and upload it to the official portal.

Candidates can verify their identity by uploading the signed and verified certificate—available on the website—along with a recent photograph approved by the Principal of their school or college. If the aforementioned officials are unavailable, candidates may have their documents verified by a Tehsildar, Revenue Officer, SDM, DM, or—in the case of Non-Resident Indian (NRI) candidates—a Class I Gazetted Officer at an Indian Embassy.

Additionally, they must bring a printed copy of the verified document to the examination center on the day of the exam for physical verification.

This verification module is now available for both Aadhaar-holding and non-Aadhaar-holding candidates, specifically for those whose uploaded photographs were found to be inconsistent with official records. The NTA has made this additional step mandatory to ensure the smooth conduct of the application process.

The Agency has also warned that failure to complete the verification process by the deadline may lead to complications during the examination.

  • Get the certificate duly verified.
  • Upload the verified document online.

The NTA has explicitly stated that failure to complete the process by the deadline may result in issues during the examination procedure. For further information, candidates should regularly visit the official NTA websites: nta.ac.in or cuet.nta.nic.in. In case of any issues, they may contact the NTA Help Desk by calling 011-40759000 or by sending an email to cuetug@nta.ac.in.
