The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 online registration closes today, October 7, 2024. Candidates can still apply with a late fee until 11:59 PM through the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Regular registration ended on October 3.

During the extended period, the fee is Rs 1,400 for SC, ST, PwD, and female candidates, and Rs 2,300 for others. Applicants may apply for up to two test papers. Earlier, the fees were Rs 900 for female, SC, ST, and PwD candidates and Rs 1,800 for others.

The GATE 2025 exam will be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16 with two shifts each day. The schedule and admit cards will be available later.

GATE 2025 Eligibility

Candidates must have a degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, or Humanities. Students in the third year or higher of their undergraduate program can also apply.
