GATE 2025 Registration Date Extended Again; Apply by October 11 with Late Fee

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has extended the GATE 2025 registration deadline. According to the notice on October 8, 2024, applicants now have until 11:59 PM on Friday, October 11, 2024, to register with a late fee. This extension was made after several candidates requested more time.

Earlier, the regular registration deadline without a late fee was extended to October 3, 2024. However, due to ongoing demand, IIT Roorkee decided to extend the late fee registration deadline.

The GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) opened on August 28, 2024, and the official GATE 2025 brochure was released on September 12, 2024. Applicants should review the brochure and follow the application guidelines carefully.

GATE 2025 is scheduled for February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. It’s a national exam for admission to postgraduate programs at top institutes like IITs, NITs, and IISc. PSUs also use GATE scores for hiring.
