GATE 2025 Registration Ends Tomorrow: Final Steps to Complete

The registration for the GATE 2025 ends tomorrow, September 26. Candidates who haven’t registered can apply online at the official website – gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
This year, IIT Roorkee is organizing GATE, scheduled for February 2025 in computer-based mode (CBT). Registrations began on August 28.

GATE 2025 Details:
- Test Papers: 30 papers (full and sectional)
- Fees:
- Rs. 900 (Females, SC, ST, PwD)
- Rs. 1,800 (Others and foreign nationals)
Late Registration: Apply until October 7 with a late fee.
How to Apply:
- Visit the official website.
- Click "APPLY NOW."
- Enter personal, exam, and qualification details.
- Upload photo, signature, and certificates (if applicable).
- Fill in ID and bank details.
- Complete payment.
- Print the application form and check the status.
Important: The photo on the admit card and scorecard will be the same as uploaded during registration.
Photo and Signature Specifications:
Photo:
- Size: 3.5 x 4.5 cm, JPEG/JPG format.
- Background: White.
- Face: Clear, no headgear (except for religious reasons).
- Resolution: 200 x 260 to 530 x 690 pixels.
- Size: 5 KB – 1 MB.
Signature:
- Ink: Black or dark blue, JPEG/JPG format.
- Aspect Ratio: 1:2.75 to 1:3.75.
- Resolution: 250 x 80 to 580 x 180 pixels.
- Size: 3 KB – 1 MB.
Make sure your documents meet the requirements to avoid rejection. Any mismatch in the signature can lead to disqualification.
Admit Cards will likely be released in January 2025, and the exam is scheduled for February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
