The CISCE that conducts the ICSE Class 10, ISC Class 12 board exams every year, has announced the time schedule for the semester 1 exam. The examination for semester 1 will begin on November 15 for ISC Class 12, while ICSE Class 10 exam will continue till December 6, and the standard 12th examination will end on December 16.

The majority of ICSE Class 10 Papers including English, EVS, and Geography will be conducted for the one-hour duration, while others including Maths will be held for a little longer time that is One hour and 30 minutes. All the papers of ISC Board Class 12 will be held for a duration of one hour and 30 minutes.

Standard 10th exam will start with the English Language on the first day and class 12th exams will start with English Paper 2 on November 15.

Next year, meaning in 2022, CISCE will follow a different method of exam conduction. Therefore, the academic session has been divided into two semesters, it is split into 50% syllabus. That means 50% of the syllabus will be used to assess the students per semester.

Due to the disruption in education activities because of COVID-19, the board has reduced the syllabus for several subjects for ICSE and ISC students. The reduced syllabus for ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) has been already divided into two semesters for the next year.
