The National Testing Agency released the new final answer key on Friday, a day after removing the final answer key of JEE Main Session-2 from the website on Thursday.
Two questions of Physics have been dropped in the JEE Main Session-2 final answer key for which bonus marks will be given. Apart from this, the answers of two questions have also been changed after the objections of the candidates.

Students can check and download the answer key by visiting jeemain.nta.nic.in. Now very soon the result of JEE Main Session-2 will also be declared. NTA has issued a fresh statement today on Friday saying that the result of JEE Main 2025 Session-II will be released by April 19.
Students will be able to check their result and score card by visiting jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates will be able to check JEE Main result by entering application number and date of birth. This time the All India Rank of the candidates will also come on the basis of the best score of both the sessions.

According to the information bulletin, the National Testing Agency (NTA) was to release the JEE Main Session-2 result on April 17, but it did not happen. NTA also released the final answer key of JEE Main Session-2 at around 6 pm on Thursday evening but removed it from the website after two and a half hours.

In the final answer key that was released, two questions of Physics were dropped, while experts had objected to 9 questions. After the release of the final answer key, students were expecting the result.
BE BTech Paper-I of NTA JEE Main Sessional 2 was conducted on 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8 April 2025 at 531 centers located in 285 cities across the country and 15 cities outside India. Paper-2 exam was conducted on 9 April 2025.
JEE Main Cutoff Expected to be High This Year
This time JEE Main cutoff is expected to be high due to more candidates. According to experts, the cutoff for the general category is expected to be between 93 to 95 percent, which is approximately equivalent to 85-90 marks out of 300.
Let us tell you that JEE Main consists of two papers. Paper-1 provides admission in BE/BTech. Paper-1 is conducted for admission in undergraduate engineering courses (BE/BTech) in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and other participating state government funded/recognized institutes/universities.

After the JEE Main exams are over, the rank of the students will be released on the basis of the best NTA score of both the sessions. Candidates securing the first 2,50,000 ranks in the JEE Main result will be eligible to apply for the JEE Advanced test. Admission is available in 23 IITs through JEE Advanced. Only those who have at least 75% marks in 12th can appear for IIT entrance JEE Advanced. Or they will be among the top 20 percentile candidates in the respective board exam.
