The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 session 2 on its official website. However, it has been confirmed by the NTA that the results of the April session (Paper 1) will be declared tomorrow i.e. on April 19.
Candidates will be able to check their scorecards through the official portal - jeemain.nta.nic.in. The April session of JEE Main 2025 was conducted from April 2 to April 9.
In the final answer key of Paper 1 of the April session, two questions were removed - one from the first shift (domestic set) of April 3 and the other from the first shift (international set) of April 2. These updates are important, especially for students who calculate their scores using the answer key.

Along with the results, the NTA will also announce the cut-off scores, All India Rank and state-wise toppers list for JEE Advanced. Students seeking admission to top National Institutes of Technology (NITs) can use this information to estimate their chances.

This year, the JEE Main exam is being conducted in two sessions - January and April. For candidates appearing in both the sessions, the best of the scores from both the sessions will be considered for the final merit list.

Candidates can follow these simple steps to check their result status:
Step 1: Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the 'JEE Main 2025 Result' link on the homepage
Step 3: Enter your application number and password
Step 4: Your JEE Main 2025 result will appear on the screen in PDF format
Step 5: Download and save the scorecard PDF
Step 6: Keep a printed copy for future reference

The following order is used to determine the rank in case of a tie in marks:
- Higher marks in Mathematics
- Higher marks in Physics
- Higher marks in Chemistry
- Low ratio of correct answers to incorrect answers across all subjects
- Low ratio of correct answers to incorrect answers in Mathematics
- Next in Physics, followed by Chemistry
- If there is still a tie, candidates are given equal rank
