NTA will declare the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Result 2025 for Session 2 by tomorrow. "JEE (Main) 2025 result will be declared by 19.4.2025," NTA posted on 'X'. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to check their JEE Main Result 2025 on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Over 10 lakh candidates appeared for the session 2 exam. The NTA addressed widespread concerns over discrepancies in the JEE Main 2025 session 2 response sheet and provisional answer key through an official notice released on April 16, 2025. Coaching institutes flagged nine problematic questions in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. In response, the NTA reiterated that all objections will be thoroughly evaluated before releasing the final answer key.

NTA uses a percentile-based normalization to rank JEE Main 2025 candidates fairly across sessions. The rank list is based on percentile, not raw marks. Tie-breakers include Maths, Physics, Chemistry scores, fewer wrong answers, and age. A 100 percentile equals top rank. The merit list is crucial for JoSAA counseling, NIT, IIIT, and JEE Advanced eligibility.

NTA has revised JEE Main 2025 tie-breaking rules, removing age and application number criteria. Now, rankings depend solely on exam performance—starting with scores in Maths, then Physics and Chemistry, followed by accuracy ratios. If the tie still holds, candidates will be given the same rank. The changes aim for a fairer, performance-based evaluation system.
