JEE Main 2025 session 2 exam will be held from April 2 to 9. BTech/BE papers will be held on April 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8 and BArch/BPlanning paper will be held on April 9. The exam will be conducted in two shifts.

Candidates must be aware of the guidelines and instructions of the National Testing Agency to avoid any hassle on the JEE Main exam day. It is very important that the candidates must carry the JEE Main 2025 hall ticket, photo identity card, photograph, self-declaration form, transparent water bottle, and disability or caste certificate (if applicable).

There are certain items prohibited in the exam hall that candidates must ensure they do not carry.

List of documents to carry on JEE Main 2025 Session - 2 exam day

Candidates appearing for JEE Mains 2025 are required to present the invigilator with the documents specified on the NTA portal. As per the rules and regulations of JEE Mains, the following documents are required on the day of JEE Mains 2025 exam:

JEE Main 2025 Admit Card – Candidates must bring a printed copy of the JEE Main Admit Card 2025 along with a self-declaration form. The form must be taken from the official NTA website and duly filled and printed on an A4 size paper.

One passport size photo – A recent colour passport size photo which has been uploaded on the JEE Main application form 2025 must be brought to the exam centre to be pasted at the designated place in the attendance register.

Authorized Photo ID Card - Any one of the following valid photo ID cards - Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID Card, Passport, Class 12th Board Admit Card with Photo, Ration Card with Photo, Bank Passbook with Photo.

Disability Certificate - Candidates claiming reservation under the Divyang category must bring supporting documents issued by the authorized medical officer.

The list of items that are allowed to be carried inside the JEE Main exam hall is given below -

Black ballpoint pen for filling the attendance sheet in the presence of the invigilator
A bottle of hand sanitizer (50 ml) for personal use
Transparent water bottle for personal use

Things Not to Carry in JEE Main Exam Centre 2025

Candidates who are going to appear in JEE Main 2025 exam must check the things that must not be carried to the examination centre below.

Electronic Devices: Do not bring mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, or any other electronic gadgets.
Stationery Items: Avoid carrying pens, pencils, erasers, or any personal stationery.
Bags and Baggage: Handbags, purses, or any kind of bag are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
Food and Beverages: No snacks, packed foods, or beverages are allowed, except for diabetic candidates who may bring sugar tablets or fruits.
Jewelry and Accessories: It’s best to avoid wearing jewelry, watches, or clothing with large buttons.
Printed or Written Material: Do not bring notes, books, or any textual reference materials.
