What Will the Scorecard Include?
Your JEE Main 2026 scorecard will show separate percentile scores for Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. It'll also display your overall percentile. NTA is expected to release the toppers list along with the result as well.
Marks vs Percentile — What's the Difference?
NTA doesn't rank students on raw marks alone. Instead, it converts raw scores into percentile scores. Your percentile tells you what percentage of total candidates you've performed better than.
Since JEE Main is held across multiple shifts, difficulty levels can vary. NTA uses a normalization process to balance this out. That way, no student is at a disadvantage because of a tougher or easier paper.

Will Cut-Off and All India Rank Be Released Today?
No. NTA has made it clear that Session-1 results won't include cut-off marks or All India Rank (AIR). These will only be released after all sessions are over. The combined result with AIR and cut-off will come out once Session-2 wraps up.

Watch Out for Fake Websites
This is important. Only check your result on the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in. Don't enter your login details on any lookalike or third-party website. Fake portals pop up around result time, and sharing your credentials there can put your data at risk.
What's Next for Students?
Registration for JEE Main Session-2 is already open. The Session-2 exam is scheduled for April 2026. If you're not satisfied with your Session-1 score, you've got another shot.
NTA considers your best score across both sessions for ranking. So even if Session-1 didn't go as planned, a strong Session-2 performance can still get you where you want to be.
Keep visiting jeemain.nta.nic.in for updates on the result, Session-2 exam dates, and the admission process ahead.
