Candidates will have to show their JEE Main 2025 Session 1 admit card to enter the JEE Main 2025 exam centre for the shift 2 exam. Additionally, candidates will have to bring a government-issued photo identity card and a passport-sized photograph. Proper adherence to these entry requirements is necessary to attend the exam.

Paper 1 for BE/BTech candidates in JEE Main 2025 will be held on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29Paper 2A and 2B for BArch and BPlan candidates are scheduled on January 30, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

JEE Mains Shift 2 (Jan 23) Updates: Overall Paper Analysis

Some students found the chemistry section a bit lengthy. Mathematics was tough for a few and moderate for some. The physics section was easy to moderate. Overall the paper was easy to moderate.

NTA JEE Mains Day 2 Shift 2 Paper : Physics and Chemistry was moderate

No questions were asked about chemical kinetics. In physics, questions were asked from rotation, current electricity, and capacitance. More were asked from Organic chemistry than physical chemistry.

JEE Main 2025 Jan 23 Updates: Questions asked from Physics and Chemistry

Three questions were asked from current, one from biomolecule, and two questions from ray optics. No questions were asked from atomic structure. 

JEE Main Jan 23 Shift 2 Exam News: Mathematics difficulty level

Two questions were asked from vector and 3D. Students have said that the maths paper was lengthy and time consuming. 

JEE Main Shift 2 Exam Updates: Technical Glitches Experienced

Few students experienced technical errors mid-way in their computer system while attempting the exam. However, the issue was resolved quickly. Students were shifted to another system.
