Candidates appearing for the exam must be aware of the JEE Main instructions for taking the exam. The JEE Main 2025 guidelines will be printed on the admit card.
The authority will conduct the JEE Main 2025 January session from January 22 to 30, 2025. So that you do not make any mistake while taking the exam. JEE Main 2025 Exam Day Guidelines
Below are the JEE Main rules and regulations 2025 for D-Day that every candidate must follow.
- Candidates should reach the JEE Main 2025 exam center at least one hour before the exam starts and cannot leave the hall until the exam ends.
- No entry will be allowed after the gate closes, and candidates can’t leave the premises before the exam is over.
- If you wear special attire for religious reasons, arrive early for thorough checking and mandatory frisking.
- Make sure to carry your JEE Main 2025 admit card, address proof, and other required documents. Without the NTA JEE Main hall ticket 2025, you won’t be allowed to take the exam.
- Fill the self-declaration form before reaching the center. Paste your passport-size photo and put your left thumb impression in the designated area.
- Follow all JEE Main 2025 rules as instructed by the invigilators or the center superintendent.
- Social distancing must be followed as per the guidelines. Candidates should take their seats immediately after the exam hall opens. Log in and review the instructions before the exam begins.
- Pen, pencil, and rough paper will be provided in the exam hall. Write your name and roll number at the top of the sheet and return it to the invigilator before leaving.
- Fill out the attendance sheet, sign it, and paste your photograph in the specified area.
- Ensure your left thumb impression is clear and doesn’t smudge on the sheet.
- Candidates with PWD reservations must carry their PWD certificate and ID issued by the competent authority to the exam center.

Documents Required for JEE Main 2025 exam
Keep the following documents with you for JEE Main exam. These documents must be carried to the JEE Main exam. Non-submission of these documents may result in candidates being barred from appearing in the exam.
a) Admit card downloaded from the NTA website and self-declaration (undertaking) (clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in.
b) A simple transparent ball point pen
c) Additional photo, to be pasted on the attendance sheet
d) Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
e) Personal transparent water bottle
