Candidates will have to show their JEE Main 2025 Session 1 admit card to enter the JEE Main 2025 exam centre for the shift 2 exam. Additionally, candidates will have to bring a government-issued photo identity card and a passport-sized photograph. Proper adherence to these entry requirements is necessary to attend the exam.
Paper 1 for BE/BTech candidates in JEE Main 2025 will be held on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29. Paper 2A and 2B for BArch and BPlan candidates are scheduled on January 30, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

JEE Mains Shift 2 (Jan 29) Updates: Overall Paper Analysis
Some students found the chemistry section a bit lengthy. Mathematics was tough for a few and moderate for some. The physics section was easy to moderate. Overall the paper was easy to moderate.

29 Jan JEE Main Shift 2 Chemistry section difficulty level
Chemistry was moderate. A few questions were tricky completely NCERT-based.
Inorganic has more questions. Organic chemistry had easy questions. Few questions were combined with physical and organic chemistry concept.
NTA JEE Mains 29 Jan Shift 2 Paper : Physics and Chemistry was moderate
No questions were asked about chemical kinetics. In physics, questions were asked from rotation, current electricity, and capacitance. More were asked from Organic chemistry than physical chemistry.
JEE Main 2025 Jan 29 Updates: Questions asked from Physics and Chemistry
Three questions were asked from current, one from biomolecule, and two questions from ray optics. No questions were asked from atomic structure.
JEE Main Jan 29 Shift 2 Exam News: Mathematics difficulty level
JEE Main Jan 29 shift 2 paper was moderate to tough. A few questions were challenging and lengthy. Two questions were asked from vector and 3D. Students have said that the maths paper was lengthy and time consuming.
