KEAM 2024 Result: Boys Dominate Top 100 with 87 Rankings

The results of the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) entrance exam were announced here on Thursday. Boys bagged all the top positions, with Devanand P of Alappuzha securing the first position and Hafiz Rahman Alikottil of Malappuram coming second. Higher Education Minister R Bindu announced the results at a press conference here.

In Kerala's first-ever Computer Based Test (CBT), 87 boys clinched spots in the top 100 ranks, with Alan Johnny, Anil, Jordan Joy, all from Kottayam, securing the third and fourth places. Dhruv Sumesh of Alappuzha and Abhijeet Lal of Idukki led among SC and ST candidates, scoring 546.99 and 475.9380 marks, respectively, in Mathematics, as per exam prospectus guidelines.
79,044 candidates appeared for the entrance exam held from June 5 to 10 at several centres including New Delhi, Mumbai and Dubai. The largest number of candidates who found a place in the rank list were from Ernakulam (6568). Also, the highest number of candidates who featured in the list of first 100 rank holders were also from Ernakulam (24), followed by Thiruvananthapuram (15).
The result details as per the school board show that out of 36390 students who appeared for the exam after completing their studies in Kerala curriculum, 2034 candidates have made it to the top 5000 ranks. Out of 14541 candidates from CBSE stream who appeared for the test, 2785 candidates are in the top 5000 list. Out of 1079 students from ISC stream, 162 candidates have made it to the top 5000 ranks.
The results were declared a month after the exam. Government agency C-DIT provided technical support for conducting the exam which was conducted on the JEE model. The questions were prepared by experts identified by the Directorate of Collegiate Education.
