Made a mistake in your form? Don’t panic. NTA provides a correction window from March 10 to March 12, 2026. During this period, you can edit certain details in your application.
However, not all fields may be open for correction. Typically, you can update your photograph, signature, and some personal details. Changes to exam city or language preference may also be allowed.
Word of Caution: The correction window is short – just 3 days. Log in, review your form, and make changes immediately if needed.
NEET UG 2026 Language Options
To make the exam accessible to students across India, NTA conducts NEET in 13 languages. You can choose your preferred language at the time of filling the application form.
The available languages are: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Important Warning: You can’t change your language choice after submitting the form. Double-check this selection before you hit submit.
Common Mistakes to Avoid While Filling the NEET 2026 Form
Every year, thousands of students face issues because of small errors in their application. Here are the most common mistakes you should avoid:
- Typing your name or date of birth incorrectly – it must match your school certificates exactly.
- Uploading blurry, old, or wrong-sized photos and documents.
- Using someone else’s email ID or an inactive mobile number.
- Choosing the wrong exam city or language option.
- Waiting until the last date to submit – the server often crashes near the deadline.
- Skipping the preview page before final submission.
- Forgetting to save the confirmation page or noting down your registration number after payment.
A little extra care during registration can save you a lot of trouble later.
One Candidate, One Form – NTA’s Strict Rule
NTA has made it very clear: each candidate must submit only one application form. If you submit more than one form, all your applications will be cancelled. There’s no appeal process for this.
So, fill your form carefully the first time. Use the correction window if you need to make changes – don’t create a new application.
NEET UG 2026 Admit Card
NTA will release the NEET UG 2026 admit card in April 2026 (exact date to be announced). Before the admit card, NTA usually releases a City Intimation Slip that tells you which city your exam centre is in.
You’ll need to download your admit card from neet.nta.nic.in using your application number and password. Make sure to carry a printed copy to the exam centre along with a valid photo ID.
