Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2026 Schedule Out: Check Dates, Eligibility, Fees, Documents & Steps

BCECEB (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board) has published the schedule of UGMAC 2026 for NEET UG qualified students. The counselling will be organized by the board for admission to MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. programmes in government and private colleges in Bihar state.

As per the notification published by the board on August 7, 2026, the online registration and application-cum-choice filling procedure would start from August 10, 2026. Students can complete the registration process and submit the requisite fee for counselling and security deposit till August 14, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

Four rounds of counselling of Bihar UGMAC 2026 will be conducted by the board. All the rounds will be held through online mode only. The date-wise schedule of the first two rounds has been released by the board, whereas dates of other rounds would be communicated separately.

Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2026 Dates

Below is the detailed schedule of Bihar UGMAC 2026 Round 1.

According to the notice, the document verification and admission process of Round 1 will be conducted between August 24, 2026, and August 27, 2026.

Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2 Dates

Schedule of round 2 counseling is also out from BCECEB.

It is important for candidates to understand that registration will not be accepted from candidates for Round 2. Those candidates who wish to take part in Round 1 and Round 2 must register themselves between 10 to 14 August.

Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2026 Eligibility

Eligible candidates need to clear NEET UG 2026 to appear in the Bihar UGMAC counseling process.

The UGMAC merit list and ranking card will be prepared by BCECEB on the basis of information obtained from NEET UG 2026 from the Bihar Health Department. The seat will be allotted according to the candidate’s merit, his choices and admission rules.

Candidates must fulfill all the eligibility criteria stated in the UGMAC 2026 brochure.

Bihar NEET Counselling 2026 Registration Fee

The candidates need to make an online payment for counselling and registration charges.

Students who wish to apply for the private colleges or a mixture of both govt. and private colleges need to pay a counselling fee of Rs 1,200. The counselling fee is non-refundable.

Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2026 Security Deposit

In addition to paying for counselling charges, applicants might also need to pay a security deposit which is refundable.

The security deposit is to be paid online via debit/credit card/net banking/UPi. Processing fees will also apply.

How to Apply for Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2026?

The candidates are advised to go through the counselling process for Bihar UGMAC 2026 via the official website of BCECEB.

1. Steps of Registration

Candidates have to register at the online portal for UGMAC 2026 by entering their NEET UG 2026 roll number, name, and DOB. OTP will be sent to their mobile number and email id linked with NTA.

A UGMAC ID will be generated upon successful registration, which candidates need to keep safely.

Step 2 - Fill Application Form

Login into the online portal and fill the application form with the necessary personal, contact and educational details. Also, upload photographs, signature, and other required documents where applicable.

Step 3 - Preview & Final Submission of Application Form

Preview all the information entered in the application form. If there is any wrong entry, you can edit the form and submit it before making the final submission.

On confirming that all the entries are correct, click on the final submission option and make payment.

Step 4 - Payment of Counselling Fee and Security Deposit

Pay the counselling fee and security deposit of UGMAC 2026 online through Debit/Credit Card/net banking/UPIDeposit the amount at BCECEB Office if your payment through online mode fails.

Make the payment again within the deadline if the amount is not reflecting in the BCECEB system.

Step 5 - Choice Filling & Choice Locking

After making the payment, select the choice of courses and colleges in the priority-wise manner.

Save the choices and lock the choices before the deadline. In case candidates save the choices but do not lock them manually, then these choices will be locked automatically after the choice filling deadline.

Step 6 - Download Confirmation Page

Download the confirmation page along with fee receipt after registering and making the payment.

Step 7 - Download Choice Slip

If you lock your choice successfully, then download your choices from the UGMAC dashboard.

Documents Required for Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2026

The candidates allotted the seat would be required to upload the required documents and submit their original copies through physical verification and admission process.

The list of documents required is as follows:

• Admit card of NEET UG 2026
• Score Card of NEET UG 2026
• Rank Card of UGMAC 2026
• Certificate/Marksheet/Admit card of Class 10
• Certificate/Marksheet/Admit card of Class 12
• Residential Certificate
• Caste/EWS Certificate, if any
• DQ/PwBD, NRI, Minority or Ward Quota Certificate, if any
• Confirmation page of UGMAC 2026 Application
• Other documents if required by Private Medical/Dental Colleges
• Six passport size photographs of the same photograph attached to the admit card of NEET UG 2026
• Aadhar Card
• Check Slip and Biometric Identification Report Form

It is advised that the candidates have their original certificates prepared prior to reporting at allotted college.

Bihar NEET UG 2026 Seat Allotment Process

The process of seat allocation will be based on the merit-cum-choice principle. While considering the seat allocation, the merit score, eligibility, and the choice of colleges of the candidate will be taken into account.

Those candidates who get a seat in the first round will get the option of Free Exit. If the candidate doesn't want the seat in the first round, then he can exit the counselling process without losing his security deposit.

If the candidates want to freeze their seat in the current round, then they have the option of Freeze. Those candidates who wish to improve their status in the next round will opt for Float under the counselling rules.

It is advisable to read the BCECEB UGMAC 2026 notification and prospectus very carefully before filling the application form.
