When Will the CBSE Class 10 Results Be Declared?

The CBSE Class 10 exam concluded on March 13, 2024.
The results are anticipated to be announced in May 2024.

Previous Year’s Timeline: A Glimpse

In the previous academic year, the board conducted the Class 10 exams from February 14 to March 21.
The results were officially declared on May 12.
Last year, a total of 21,84,117 students registered for the board exams, out of which 20,16,779 students qualified, resulting in a pass percentage of 93.12%.

Changes and Considerations

In 2022, the CBSE Class 10 exams were held in two terms:
- Term-1 exam: Conducted in November-December.
- Term-2 exam: Held in May-June.
The board declared the result only after consolidating the marks for both terms.
Schools have been given time until March 31 to upload the marks of practical exams, project works, and internal assessments for the 2023-24 academic session.
Additionally, CBSE is considering Open Book Examinations (OBE) for students of Classes 9 to 12. A pilot run of open-book tests is proposed for English, mathematics, and science subjects later this year.
