CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Exam 2026: LOC Submission Deadline Extended to July 9 — Check Official Notice
An important notification has been issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The board has announced that the last date to upload the List of Candidates (LOC) has been moved to July 9, 2026, which earlier was July 8, 2026.
Thus, the schools now have one extra day to upload the names of the regular candidates. CBSE has sent a circular on June 30, 2026, in which it had asked schools to upload LOC.

When Will the Exam Take Place?
The CBSE Class 12 supplementary exam will be held on July 28, 2026. The question papers will follow the 2025-26 board syllabus. Note: Improvement candidates can apply for only that one subject they already appeared in during the main exam.
Who Will Get the Consolidated Marksheet?
Only some students will receive the consolidated marksheet. These are students whose 2026 result showed "Compartment" and who then pass the supplementary exam in 2026.
Who Can Apply?
The following students are eligible to apply:
- Private students who took 5 or 6 subjects and got a compartment in 1-2 subjects. They can appear only in those subjects.
- Private students who passed in 6 subjects but failed in 1. They can take the improvement exam in that subject, if its paper is being held.
- Old compartment students. This includes those who stayed in the compartment category in the 2025 main exam, the 2025 supplementary, and the second supplementary in 2026. They can apply too.
Schools and students should read the notice on cbse.gov.in and finish the LOC submission before July 9.
