The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2026.

Candidates who wish to apply for CUET UG 2026 can do so by visiting the official website cuet.nta.nic.in.

The last date to submit the CUET UG 2026 application form is January 30, 2026. The fee payment window will remain open until January 31, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete their registration and fee payment before the deadline to avoid any last-minute issues.

The correction window will open on February 2nd and close on February 4th, 2026.

The CUET UG 2026 examination will be conducted between May 11th and May 31st, 2026. This examination will be held in 13 mediums across India and abroad, providing admission to undergraduate programs in all university campuses and participating universities. Each exam will be 60 minutes long. The examination will be conducted in multiple shifts depending on the number of candidates and their subject combinations.

There is no age limit for candidates appearing for the CUET UG examination. Candidates who have passed the Class 12th/equivalent examination or are appearing for the examination in 2026 are eligible to appear for the CUET (UG) - 2026 examination.

CUET UG 2026: How to Register Online?

Follow these simple steps to apply for CUET UG 2026:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CUET UG at cuet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the "CUET UG 2026 Registration" link available on the homepage.

Step 3: A new page will open. Enter your basic details like name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number to complete registration.

Step 4: After successful registration, you'll receive login credentials on your email and mobile number.

Step 5: Log in using these credentials and fill the complete application form with personal and academic details.

Step 6: Select your preferred subjects (maximum 5), exam cities, and medium of examination.

Step 7: Upload your photograph, signature, and other required documents in the prescribed format.

Step 8: Make the payment of the application fee through online mode.

Step 9: Click on "Submit" and download the confirmation page.

Step 10: Take a printout of the confirmation page and keep it safe for future reference.

CUET UG 2026: Correction Window

NTA has provided a correction window for candidates to make changes in their application form. The correction window will open on February 2, 2026, and will close on February 4, 2026.

During this period, candidates can edit their personal details, academic information, subject choices, and other particulars. However, some fields may not be editable. Candidates should fill the application form carefully in the first attempt to avoid issues.
