Getting admission into the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) without cracking the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) might seem impossible, right? But you can actually get into IITs without taking the JEE! Some short-duration and certificate courses allow you to enroll without the exam. IIT Madras: BSc in Data Science

IIT Madras offers a BSc in Data Science that doesn't require an entrance exam. You need to have Class 10-level math skills and must have passed Class 12. But here's the catch: after one month, you'll have to take a qualifier exam.

There's no age limit or stream restrictions for joining this course. After the qualifier, those who pass will enter the foundational stage.

The program includes three stages: a foundational program, a diploma program, and a degree program. You can exit at any stage and receive a certificate, diploma, or degree, depending on how far you've come. Interested students will need to pay a fee for the entrance exam.

IIT Kanpur: AIML with Python

IIT Kanpur offers a certification program in Python for artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning. This 4-week online course covers real-world tools like Numpy, Linalg, Matplotlib, Pandas, Scikit Learn, TensorFlow, and Keras.

IIT Roorkee: Certificate in Generative AI & Machine Learning

IIT Roorkee has introduced a certificate program in generative AI and machine learning, along with iHub Divya Sampark. This 11-month program costs ₹1,34,999 and has limited seats.

The course includes live virtual classes with industry experts, hands-on projects in integrated labs, self-paced video content, and collaborative learning. You'll also enjoy a two-day campus immersion at IIT Roorkee. This program suits professionals, young graduates, engineers, project managers, and data experts.

IIT Delhi: UI/UX Design

IIT Delhi offers a six-month certificate course in UI/UX design, starting on November 23. The course fee is ₹1,50,000 + GST.

To qualify, you must have a graduate degree and at least one year of experience. The curriculum covers capstone projects, affinity mapping, card sorting, ecosystem mapping, and more.

Students who score 60% or above and maintain a minimum attendance of 50% will receive a certificate of successful completion from CEP, IIT Delhi. Those who score below 60% will get a certificate of participation.

IIT Kanpur: Cloud Computing and DevOps

IIT Kanpur will start an 8-month course in Cloud Computing and DevOps in partnership with E & ICT Academy. The course fee is ₹1,49,998, with EMI options available.

Candidates should have a graduation degree with at least 50% marks. Non-programming students can also apply. The course includes over 30 hands-on projects, including a capstone project across three domains. For more information, visit ifacet.iitk.ac.in.
