JEE Advanced Cut-off 2024: BTech Options at IITs for Low Rank Holders

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will release the Round 1 seat allotment results for JEE Advanced 2024 tomorrow, June 20. This allotment is for candidates seeking admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), based on their ranks in JEE Advanced 2024.

The JoSAA counselling process for 2024 will include six rounds. Initially, the first five rounds will cover seat allocation for IITs, while the sixth round will focus on the NIT+ system, which includes National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and Government-funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).

Candidates had until yesterday to fill and lock their preferences for courses and colleges. Based on these preferences, the seat allotment results will be determined. Two rounds of mock merit lists were previously provided to help candidates understand their chances of admission and make necessary adjustments to their preferences.

Once the Round 1 results are out, candidates who have been allocated seats must report online, pay the required fee, and upload their documents for verification between June 20 and June 24. During this period, they may also need to respond to any queries raised.
