The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the application correction window for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 2 today i.e. February 27, 2025.

Candidates who have already registered for JEE Main 2025 can make the necessary changes in their application form till 11:50 pm on February 28, 2025. The corrections can be made through the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2: Who can Edit their Application?

Existing Candidates: Candidates who have registered for JEE (Main) 2025 Session 1 (October 28 to November 22, 2025) and applied for Session 2 (February 2 to February 25, 2025) can modify the following details in their application:

Course (Paper)
Medium of Question Paper
State Eligibility Code
Exam City (from the available options)
Educational Qualification (Class 10 and Class 12)
Gender
Category
Fee Payment (if applicable)

Note: Changes in these fields will be processed only after payment of additional fee.

New candidates: Candidates who applied only for JEE Main session 2 (from February 2 to February 25, 2025) can edit the following details:

Educational Qualification (Class 10 and Class 12)
State Eligibility Code
Date of Birth
Gender
Category
Sub-Category/Person with Disabilities
Signature
Documents

Candidates can also update their exam city and exam medium based on their permanent and current address.

However, new candidates are not allowed to make changes in the following fields:

Mobile Number
Email Address
Permanent and Current Address
Emergency Contact Details
Candidate Photograph

Additionally, new candidates can change only one of the following fields:

Candidate Name
Father's Name
Mother's Name

JEE Main 2025: How to Edit Your Application?

To make the necessary corrections in the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 application form, follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official JEE Main portal - jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Application Correction” link.

Step 3: Sign in using your application number and password.

Step 4: Carefully make the necessary changes in the application form.

Step 5: Pay any additional fee, if applicable.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Exam Schedule

The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam is scheduled to be held between April 1 and 8, 2025. The exam will be conducted in two shifts:

Shift 1: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

Shift 2: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

The JEE Main 2025 session 2 exam will be conducted online as a Computer Based Test (CBT) and will last for three hours. The exam will be conducted in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

The exam pattern for Paper 1 is as follows:

Total 75 questions, total 300 marks.
Section A will have 60 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
Section B will have 15 numerical answer-based questions.
