Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the Round 4 seat allotment result for BTech admissions today, July 10, 2026. Students participating in the counselling process are advised to check their seat allotment status online. They need to login to the official portal (josaa.nic.in) with their JEE Main 2026 application number and password.

Those candidates allotted seats in Round 4 need to complete the following procedure in order to secure admission to the college of their choice.

Payment of the seat acceptance fee Uploading of all required documents till July 14, 2026

Failure to do this will result in loss of seat, hence it is advisable to complete the procedure before the last date.

JoSAA 2026 Counselling is for admissions to 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 26 IIITs, IIEST Shibpur, and many other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) in the country.

• Go to the official JoSAA website (josaa.nic.in)
• Click on the Round 4 seat allotment option on the homepage
• Enter your JEE Main 2026 application number and password
• Submit the application form
• Seat allotment result will display on the screen
• Download a soft copy of the allotment letter

What to Do After JoSAA Round 4 Seat Allotment 2026

After checking the allotment result, candidates are required to complete the document verification and seat acceptance procedure in the prescribed period. Following are the documents that students should have handy to complete the procedure without delay:

• Provisional seat allotment letter from JoSAA
• Three recent passport size photographs (same that were used during JEE Main 2026 registration)
• Class 10 marksheet or any valid proof of date of birth
• Class 12 marksheet and passing certificate
• Printout of the choices filled during counselling process
• Proof of seat acceptance fee payment using SBI e-challan or internet banking
• Valid identity proof
• Category certificate and PwD certificate (if applicable)

Students dissatisfied with the allotted seat can wait for the next round if there is one and opt for float and slide options.
