MCC NEET UG Round 1 Registration 2026 Open: Direct Application Link

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has begun the NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 Registration from today, 5th August. The round includes counselling for admissions in 15% All India Quota (AIQ), AIIMS, JIPMER, Central Universities, AFMC, ESI and Deemed Universities.

Eligible candidates can apply, pay the counselling fees and select their preferences through the official website of MCC.

However, there is a major modification in the process of counselling this year. For those candidates who choose to opt for seat upgradation, document verification will be done online so that there will be no need for reporting physically after each round.

Here's the complete fee structure for Round 1 registration.

The registration fee won't be refunded. The security deposit comes back to you after counselling ends, provided you follow MCC's rules.

MCC Introduces New Upgrade Process for NEET UG Counselling 2026

MCC has made changes in the counseling procedure to facilitate the process of admission. In case you have been allotted a seat, you can now choose from 2 alternatives:

Freeze: You are satisfied with your allotted seat. Attend the institute physically, verify the documents and pay the admission fees.

Float: You desire to have a better seat in the next round. Upload your willingness to upgrade your seat online along with the necessary documents on the MCC website. The allotted institute verifies your documents online and you do not need to attend the institute physically at this stage.

In case the Institute's Document Verification Committee (DVC) notices any discrepancy, a query will be raised. It is your responsibility to upload the corrected documents during the reporting window.

In case your documents are genuine, the seat will be provisionally allotted to you and you will remain eligible for the next round. In case the discrepancies are not cleared, your allotted seat might be cancelled by MCC.
