The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced the exam schedule for the joint competitive entrance examinations for admission to various colleges and universities for the academic year 2025-26.
WBJEEB conducts several exams, including West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE), Presidency University Bachelor's Degree Entrance Test (PUBDET), Presidency University Master's Degree Entrance Test (PUMDET), Joint Entrance Examination for Nursing, Paramedical and Allied Science Undergraduate Courses (JENPAS UG), and West Bengal Joint Entrance Lateral Engineering Test (JELET).
As per the schedule available on the official website, WBJEE 2025 will be held on April 27, followed by JENPAS (UG) 2025 on May 25. The last exam conducted by the board will be PUMDET 2025 on July 27.

WBJEEB 2025: Examination Schedule
The WBJEE exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes and has a duration of three hours. PUBDET and PUMDET are conducted for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses respectively. Check the exam schedule here:

The JELET exam facilitates lateral entry into the second year of engineering, technology and pharmacy courses. Additionally, the West Bengal Joint Examination Masters in Computer Applications (WB JEECA) is conducted for MCA admissions, with a total of 1,494 seats available.
WBJEE 2025 Exam Date and Time
WBJEE 2025 is scheduled to be held on April 27. The exam will last for 4 hours, divided into two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1, which will consist of mathematics, will be held from 11 am to 1 pm, while Paper 2, which will consist of physics and chemistry, will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm. Candidates will also be able to download their admit cards between April 17 and April 27.
Ranking and Admission Process
Candidates appearing in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 are eligible for General Merit Rank (GMR) and Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR). Such candidates will be considered for admission to all courses of Engineering and Pharmacy.
Candidates appearing only in Paper 2 are eligible only for PMR. Such candidates will be considered for admission to Pharmacy courses only (except Jadavpur University). Candidates appearing only in Paper one are not eligible for any rank
WBJEE 2025 Exam Pattern
The WBJEE exam will be of total 4 hours. It will have 155 questions, which will be asked from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The questions will be divided into three categories.
WBJEE 2025: Admission Process
WBJEE is conducted once every year to admit students to UG courses in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture in colleges/universities in the state of West Bengal. WBJEE 2025 will be conducted in offline mode i.e. it will be a pen and paper-based exam.
