The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main Session 2 exam schedule for 2025. The exams will be held from April 2 to April 9 in various cities across India and 15 foreign locations. Earlier, the exams were planned between April 1 and April 8.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Exam Date & Shift Timings
The exam will be conducted on the following dates:

As per the notice, NTA is conducting JEE Main 2025 Session 2 at various centres located in various cities across the country and 15 cities outside India. JEE Main Paper 2A (B.Tech) will be held on the first five days, while JEE Mains Paper 2A (B.Arch), Paper 2B (BPlanning) and combined paper of B.Arch and B.Planning will be held on the last day.

JEE Main 2025 Session 1: Key Highlights, Toppers & Statistics
The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam recorded a 95.93% attendance rate, with 12,58,136 candidates appearing out of 13,11,544 registered students for Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech). The final answer key, released on February 10, removed 12 questions from the exam.
The exam was conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, and more. However, 39 candidates' results were withheld by NTA due to unfair means.
In the toppers list, Sai Manogna Guthikonda from Andhra Pradesh emerged as the only female topper. Parth Sehra from Rajasthan topped in the ST category, while Harshal Gupta from Chhattisgarh secured the top position in the PwBD category. Daksh from Delhi topped the OBC-NCL category, and Shreyas Lohia from Uttar Pradesh topped the SC category.
A total of 13,11,544 candidates registered for Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech.) across different categories and genders. Out of these, 4,43,622 were female candidates. The category-wise registrations included 1,67,790 from the General category, 45,627 from EWS, 42,704 from SC, 13,833 from ST, and 1,73,668 from OBC-NCL.
Successful candidates will secure admission to NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and other institutes through JoSAA counselling. Additionally, the top 2.5 lakh qualifiers will get an opportunity to appear for JEE Advanced 2025.
