The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will release the round 4 seat allocation results today, July 10. Students can check their seat allotment results on the official JoSAA website: josaa.nic.in.

Students who are allocated seats must report online by July 15 (5 pm). This includes paying the counseling fee and uploading the required documents. When accepting a seat online, students must choose one of three options: “Freeze,” “Float,” or “Slide.” The freeze option means accepting the seat and not participating in further rounds.

If a student is allotted a seat as per his/her first choice, he/she can only choose the “Freeze” option. Not selecting the freeze option will be considered as a rejection of the seat, and the student will not be considered for further rounds. The next seat allocation round, Round 5, will be on July 17.

Suppose there is a change in a candidate’s credentials (such as category, state code of eligibility, or gender) and their seat is cancelled due to invalid credentials. In that case, they will be considered for seat allotment in subsequent rounds with the updated credentials. They will have to report online again to accept any newly allotted seat.

Steps to Check JoSAA Round 4 Seat Allotment Result

Step 1. Visit the official JoSAA website: Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA)
Step 2. Look for the link that reads "View Seat Allotment Result-Round 4."
Step 3. Enter your login credentials: JEE (Main) application number and Password
Step 4. Click on "Submit" button.
Step 5. Your JoSAA seat allotment result for round 4 will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6. Download and print a copy of the allotment letter for your records.
