The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2025 counselling process has begun. It is inviting candidates who qualified JEE Advanced 2025 to apply for admission to prestigious institutes in India like IITs, NITs, and other government-funded technical institutes. All admissions will be done through a single common website.

The category-wise top 20 percentile cut-off marks (out of 500) have also been released on the official website of JoSAA. These cut-offs have been obtained from the respective education boards.

Boards for which data is not available will use the CBSE cut-off marks. The cut-off marks given below have been obtained from the respective boards.

This cut-off is extremely important for students who want to take admission in the prestigious engineering institutes of the country like IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other government-funded technical institutes (GFTIs). For admission, students must either secure a minimum of 75% marks (65% for SC, ST and PWD candidates) in the Class 12 board exams, or be in the top 20 percentile list of their respective boards.

Percentile Cut-off Marks List for Class 12 Exams

The organising committee of CSAB 202, NIT Rourkela and the organising committee of JEE Advanced 2025, IIT Kanpur have shared the category-wise percentage cut-off marks for Class 12 exams for the year 2024 and 2025. The boards that have not been able to provide cut-off marks are marked as NR (Not Reached).
