The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the result of Mock Seat Allotment 1 for JoSAA Counselling 2025 on 9 June 2025. Those who have registered for counselling can check their mock seat allotment status by visiting the official website josaa.nic.in.

According to the official website, the result of Mock Seat Allotment 1 has been released based on the options that the candidates had filled till 8 June 2025, 8 pm. The aim is to help students estimate which seat they can get as per their choice filling, so that they can correct their options if needed.

As per the official schedule, the result of JoSAA Mock Seat Allotment 2 will be released on 11 June 2025. Candidates should complete their choice filling and lock the options by 12 June. If a candidate does not lock the options manually, the system will lock them automatically. No changes will be possible after this.

JoSAA Mock Seat Allotment 2025 is a trial process aimed at giving candidates an indication of the institute and branch they may get based on their selected preferences and rank. This is not the final allotment but gives students an opportunity to refine their choice filling so that they can make a better decision before the actual seat allotment.

JoSAA Counselling 2025: How to Check Mock Seat Allotment

Candidates can follow the steps given below to check the mock seat allotment.

Step -1. Visit the official website of JoSAA at josaa.nic.in.

Step -2. Click on the Mock Seat Allotment 1 Result for JoSAA Counselling 2025 link available on the home page.

Step -3. A new page will open where candidates have to enter the login details.

Step -4. Click on submit and the mock seat allotment list will be displayed.

Step -5. Check and download the mock seat allotment list.

Step -6. Keep a hard copy of it for further need.

The JoSAA Mock Seat Allotment 2 result will be released on June 11, 2025 based on the choices filled by the candidates till June 10, 2025. This mock allotment process is only an indicative or trial process, which gives candidates an idea of the possible seat based on their choices and rank.

The registration and choice filling process for academic programmes under JoSAA 2025 will end on June 12, 2025. Thereafter, on June 13, JoSAA will match, verify and declare all the data as valid so that the final seat allotment can be completed without any error.

The seat allotment result for Round 1 will be published on June 14, 2025. The online reporting process will also start from the same day, in which candidates will have to pay the fees, upload documents and answer the relevant questions. This process will continue till June 18, 2025. The last date for fee payment for Round 1 is also June 18, 2025.
