Announced on June 4, the NEET-UG results attracted attention after 67 candidates achieved a perfect score of 720/720, and some scored 718 or 719—marks that others claimed were unrealistic. The NTA attributed these high scores to factors including a relatively easier paper, awarding additional marks to students who lost time during the exam due to errors and delays by NTA staff and invigilators, and an incorrect question.

However, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has assured that if any such allegations are found true, the culprits will not be spared.
