The last date for online reporting, seat fee payment and document verification for Round 1 of JoSAA 2025 counselling is today, June 18. Candidates must complete all the required tasks by 5 pm to ensure seat confirmation or a chance to upgrade to the next round.

Candidates who choose the float or slide option in JoSAA 2025 Round 1 will be eligible for upgrade in Round 2. However, candidates hoping to get a better seat in future rounds will have to mandatorily pay the seat acceptance fee in this round to proceed further in the counselling process.

JoSAA 2025: Fees and Documents

JoSAA informed that if any candidate faces problem in payment due to technical reasons, then NTA will resolve it by June 19. At the same time, candidates have to answer questions related to document verification through the JoSAA portal by 5 pm on June 20.

JoSAA has advised the candidates to keep copies of all submitted documents and payment receipts safe. These may be required at the time of physical reporting to the institute in future. This preparation can save students from any last minute hassle.

JoSAA 2025 Round 1 Counselling 2025: How to Make Fee Payment

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to make payment of fee.

1. Visit the official website of JoSAA at josaa.nic.in.

2. On the home page, click on the candidate login section.

3. Enter your credentials to login, and submit.

4. Check your allotted seat and make payment of fee online for Round 1.

5. Download the confirmation page, and keep a printout of the same for future reference.

What Happens Next in the Second Round?

Round 2 seat allotment results will be declared on Saturday, June 21 at 5 pm. Online reporting for Round 2 will begin on the same day, which will include seat acceptance fee payment, document upload and answering questions.

Candidates allotted seats in Round 2 must complete these formalities by June 25 at 5 pm to avoid cancellation of their seat allotment.

JoSAA 2025 Round 1 will close today at 5 pm for seat acceptance and document verification. Payment-related issues will be resolved by June 19. Round 2 allotment results and reporting will begin from June 21. Candidates must complete all the formalities to remain in the counselling process.
