NEET UG Counselling 2024 : MCC Portal Open for Medical College Seat Allocation

While students wait for the NEET UG Supreme Court verdict and the final date for 2024 counselling, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) issued a notice on July 16.

It invites medical colleges to enter their seat details on the official portal – mcc.nic.in. The committee will accept seat details from participating institutions until July 20 for UG counselling 2024 on the intramcc portal.

“Institutes participating in UG Counselling 2024 are informed that the intramcc portal for entering UG seats is now open. Institutes should start entering their seats on the portal as soon as possible to complete the process on time,” read the official notice. The notice also mentions that the user ID and password for accessing the portal are the same as in previous years.

A ‘Forgot Password’ facility is available for institutions that have forgotten their password or wish to generate a new one. For any technical inquiries, institutions can contact the MCC between 10 am and 6 pm at 011-69227413, 69227416, 69227419, and 69227423.

For NEET UG 2024 counselling, the center has said counselling will begin in the third week of July and will be conducted in four rounds. If students are found using any unfair means or malpractices at any stage of counselling, their admission will be canceled.

NEET UG counselling will include 15 percent All India Quota seats at various central universities, government colleges, deemed universities, and seats allocated for the wards of Insured Persons (IP quota) at ESIC medical colleges and Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court will hear all NEET UG 2024 related petitions on July 18, led by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud.
