Andaman and Nicobar Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria: Students must be domiciles of the Union Territory.

Andhra Pradesh Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Categories: Local and Non-local candidates.
  • Local Area Districts:
    • AU: Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam.
    • OU: Adilabad, Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahaboobnagar, Medak, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Warangal.
    • SVU: Ananthapur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Chittoor, Nellore.
  • Local Candidates Criteria:
    • Studied/resided in the local area for 4 consecutive years.
    • Studied in a specific local area for 7 years.
  • 15% Unreserved Seats:
    • Resided in AP for more than 10 years.
    • Parents resided in AP for more than 10 years.
    • Parents employed in public/quasi-public sector or Central government.

Arunachal Pradesh Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • 80% seats for Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe.
    • 20% seats for Non-APST candidates.

Assam Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Family/parents resided in Assam for over 20 years.
    • Studied in recognized school from Class 7 to 12.

Bihar Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Parents must be residents or refugees settled in Bihar.
    • Parents employed with the state government before Jharkhand's creation.
    • Parents employed with state or Central government.

Chandigarh Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Completed higher secondary education in Chandigarh.
    • Parents working in organizations with at least 20% government stake.
  • Reserved Candidates:
    • SC, ST, or PwD categories must meet general eligibility.
    • Submit caste and PwD certificates.
  • Foreign Nationals:
    • Indian origin and resided abroad for 3 years.
    • Pass relevant examinations.
    • Submit "Certificates of Equivalence" from AIU, New Delhi, and Punjab University, Chandigarh.

Chhattisgarh Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Born in Chhattisgarh.
    • Submit a domicile certificate.
    • Completed higher secondary education in recognized institution.
    • Parents employed with state or Central government.

Dadra and Nagar Haveli Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Studied from Class 8 to 12 in recognized school.
    • Parents domicile holders of Daman & Diu or Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
    • Parents resided in Union Territory and studied abroad.
    • Parents employed with Central Government or Union Territory Administration.

Delhi Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Passed higher secondary from recognized school affiliated to CBSE, JMI, or ICSE board.

Goa Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Resided in Goa for at least 10 years.
    • Parents/grandparents born in Goa and resided for 5 consecutive years.
    • Passed higher secondary from recognized institution in Goa.

Gujarat Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Indian or Overseas citizen.
    • Passed higher secondary from recognized institution.
    • Parents employed with state or Central government but posted outside Gujarat.
    • Parents employed in army, navy, or All India services.
    • Passed Class 10 or 12 from outside Gujarat with parents as permanent residents.

Haryana Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Resided in state for at least 10 years.
    • Completed Class 12 from recognized school in Haryana.
    • Parents bonafide residents of Haryana.

Himachal Pradesh Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Studied in Navodya Schools or completed Class 10 and 12 in Himachal Pradesh.
    • Parents are Himachalis.
    • Bonafide Himachalis and wards of ex-servicemen or state/Central government employees.
    • Passed at least 2 major exams in Himachal Pradesh.
    • Employed with state government and studied Class 10+2 in Himachal Pradesh.

Jammu and Kashmir Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Domicile of Jammu & Kashmir or Ladakh.
    • Passed higher secondary education from recognized school in J&K.
    • Core subjects: English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

Jharkhand Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Permanent residents entitled to 80% of state quota seats.
    • Submit domicile certificate.
    • Passed 10+2 from recognized school in Jharkhand.

Karnataka Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Finished Class 12 from recognized schools in Karnataka.
    • Resided in state for at least 7 consecutive years.
    • Studied in schools in Karnataka with parents residing for 7 years.
    • Mother tongue: Kannada, Tulu, Kodava.
    • Completed 10+2 from school in Karnataka and residing outside Karnataka.
    • Resided in disputed Kannada-speaking regions for 7 years.
    • Children of migrants from Jammu and Kashmir.
    • Children of MPs selected by state people.
    • Children completing Class 11 and 12 in Karnataka and parents serving in defense for 1 year.

Manipur Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Domicile residents of Manipur.

Meghalaya Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Permanent resident of one of the 8 Northeastern states.
    • Completed Class 11 and 12 from recognized school.

Maharashtra Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Candidature Types:
    • Type A: Born in Maharashtra, resided for 10 years, completed 10+2 from recognized institution.
    • Type B: Parents hold domicile certificate of Maharashtra.
    • Type C: Parents government employees posted in Maharashtra.
    • Type D: Parents Central government employees posted in Maharashtra.
    • Type E: Completed higher secondary from Maharashtra-Karnataka Board, native language Maratha, submit domicile certificate of Maharashtra-Karnataka border area.

Kerala Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Categories:
    • Keralite Category: Originated in Kerala or ward of All India Service Officers posted in Kerala.
    • Non-Keralite I (NK-I):
      • Studied qualifying course in Kerala and parents employed with Central Government.
      • Completed 10+2 in Kerala and parents state government employees for 2 years.
    • Non-Keralite II (NK-II): All other candidates eligible for open seat category.

Odisha Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Permanent residents of Odisha.
    • Parents working as All India Civil Service Officers.

Punjab Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Permanent residents entitled to 85% of state quota seats.
    • Exceptions for children of Central/Punjab government employees, military or para military officers, army personnel, and minority quota students.

Puducherry Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Indian citizens meeting any one of the following:
      • Parents resident for 5 consecutive years.
      • Passed SSCL/HSC in Puducherry for 5 years.
      • Studied in Puducherry for 5 years.
      • Own land/home in Puducherry.
      • Parents employed with state/Central government for 3 years.
      • Ward of defense personnel serving for 3 years.

Rajasthan Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Permanent resident of Rajasthan.
    • Studied from Class 8 to 12 in Rajasthan with parents as domicile holders.
    • Parents former employees of Rajasthan government.
    • Parents serving/retired from para military, defense, or civil post.
    • Parents serving in defense sector in Rajasthan.
    • Children of judges serving in Rajasthan.

Tamil Nadu Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Studied Class 6 to 12 in Tamil Nadu.
    • Completed studies partially/completely outside Tamil Nadu.
    • Certified resident of Tamil Nadu.
    • NRI and Overseas Indian Citizens eligible for management quota.
    • Residing in Tamil Nadu for academic purposes eligible for open quota seats.

Telangana Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Categories: Local and Non-local candidates.
  • Local Area Districts:
    • SVU: Ananthapur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Chittoor, Nellore.
    • AU: Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasham.

    • Parents employed with public corporations, Central, state, or government institutions.

Tripura Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Permanent resident with parents residing for 10 years.
    • Parents posted with All India Services.
    • Parents employed with Tripura government for 3 years.
    • Passed Class XII in Tripura with parents/grandparents serving Tripura government for 5 years.
    • Children of army/defense personnel posted in Tripura for 5 years.

Uttarakhand Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Native of Uttarakhand with father as permanent resident.
    • Parents stayed in Uttarakhand for at least 3 years.
    • Parents employed with state/Central government.
    • Exempted from domicile certificate if finished Class X and XII in Uttarakhand.
    • Submit domicile certificate if finished Class XII outside Uttarakhand.

Uttar Pradesh Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Children of Uttar Pradesh domicile.
    • Father resided in Uttar Pradesh.
    • Passed 10+2 from UP schools.

West Bengal Domicile criteria for NEET 2024

  • Criteria:
    • Permanent residents of West Bengal for 10 years.
    • Submit valid domicile certificate.
