The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the final, updated results for NEET UG 2024 today, July 25. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that the revised results will be available within the next two days. Students can check their results on the NTA exam website: exams.nta.ac.in.

On Wednesday, the Supreme Court instructed the NTA to follow the recommendations from IIT Delhi regarding a disputed Physics question and to recalculate the results. The Court confirmed that there was only one correct answer to the question—option 4. The Court also discussed the possibility of a NEET UG re-test and the cancellation of the results.

According to the Court’s decision, "We accept the IIT Delhi report, and the NTA will recalculate the NEET UG results based on the fact that option 4 is the only correct answer."

This updated result will impact the rankings of over 4 lakh candidates, including 44 NEET UG 2024 toppers who received extra marks for the questioned item.

Once the revised results are out, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and state counselling bodies will start the online counselling process for UG medical admissions.
